How It Works

Our date calculator uses the standard Gregorian calendar to compute time intervals. Here's the logic used for different calculations:

Duration: The absolute difference in milliseconds between two timestamps is calculated and converted into days (1 day = 86,400,000 ms).

Adding Days: The specific number of days is added to the date object, and the calendar automatically adjusts for month lengths and year changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I calculate days between two dates? +
Simply enter the Start Date and End Date in the inputs above and click "Calculate Duration". The tool will show you the total days, as well as the breakdown in years, months, and weeks.
does this calculator include the end date? +
By default, the calculation represents the duration between the dates. For example, from Jan 1 to Jan 2 is 1 day. If you want to include both the start and end days (inclusive count), simply add 1 to the result.
